At first sight that question sounds redundant. Light is the single element which can be perceived by the eye. But what happens in the space between light source, object and eye? Why light can be invisible between the objects, when its the only thing what we can finally see? Where are the borders between perceiving light and invisibility? Whats the behavior of the light ray until it will be perceived in our eye?
The Installation "Light Ray Studies" tries artistically and experimentally to find an visual aesthetically answer for that questions. Corresponding to the focus of the observer the nature of light and its different phenomenons can be seen. A subtle installation for prospection and detection.
